What professional groups have said
Read authentic reviews from people who walked Oxford with us.
We were a group of six architects and requested a tour of historic and notable new buildings. Our guide, Victoria, showed us buildings we weren't aware of, gained access to some we would not have seen on our own and gave us interesting insights into the University. The two hours passed all too quickly. Excellent.
Thank you Elizabeth for the walking tour of the University and colleges. Your deep knowledge and stories on the intertwining politics, religion and key figures in Oxford's history were really fascinating, and led us to find things we would never have seen on our own. The time passed in a blink.
Excellent experience with very passionate guide Trevor. He is highly recommended and very eloquently knowledgeable. Made the time fly by. What a fantastic day it was!
Something different for your delegates
When 250 delegates at a medical conference finished their lectures at 5.30, fourteen of our guides walked them to the college hosting their banquet, with the tours themed around Oxford's medical pioneers, and delivered them in time for pre-dinner drinks.
For visiting academics with a free afternoon we built a menu of specialist walks, from ancient and modern architecture to science and medicine and the Oxford of Lewis and Tolkien, and gained permission to see inside places not normally open to visitors.
A scientific summer school that returns every year is offered a choice for its free Sunday: a science-themed walk ending at a famous pub against the old city wall, a visit to Blenheim Palace, or a guided day in London.
